Dear Friends and Supporters:
We are thrilled to to report that the flock the Lord has entrusted to us are doing well and enjoying their summer to the fullest.
As you may know, the school officially closed for summer break on June 21, 2024. Since then, we’ve been working diligently to ensure the children have a productive and fun time! They’ve been keeping busy with toys and games, making the most of their break.
We’re excited to announce that six of our boys started attending school camp on August 28, 2024! This is a significant achievement as it was challenging to find a summer camp that accessible and wasn’t full. Safety has always been our top priority, and we are incredibly grateful that God made a way for this opportunity. We know this camp will be a fantastic experience for the boys, filled with learning, growth, and, of course, fun.
The social, cultural and political violence and unrest in our beloved country poses a constant threat to the security and peace of our communities. We are seeking the Lord for His wisdom in navigating these challenging times, as the safety and well-being of the children at Coeur Assemble has never been more important.
The children are expected to return to school in October. We kindly ask for your prayers and support, not just for the children of Coeur Assemble, but for all the people of Haiti who are enduring these difficult times.
Generosity and faith have always been beacons of hope, and now, more than ever, we need yours to ensure that our children can continue to grow, learn, and thrive in a safe environment. Please consider making a donation today and stand with us as we work to protect and uplift those most vulnerable during this crisis. Together, we can make a difference.
